:: Tea Tasting - February 20th ::



Learn what is needed for a functional teapot. A Tea Tasting will be held on February 20th at Tea Grotto's Saturday tea tastings from 3-5pm. This will be a great opportunity to learn about tea, tea brewing, and the functional requirements for a teapot. The Tea Grotto, 2030 S 900 East, in Sugarhouse.



:: Potters Workshop 2010 with Brian Jensen ::



The workshop will be held at Pioneer Craft House, 3271 South 500 East - South Salt Lake on Saturday, March 20th from 10:00 - 4:00. Continental breakfast and lunch provided.

In support of the Utah Teapot Show in April, Chuck Parsons and Red Kiln have agreed to teach a workshop on Teapot Design, Production, and Glazing. The workshop starts February 2nd and runs for 5 weeks. The normal cost for the workshop is $100. CAU is providing a $25 stipend through the Education Initiative for CAU Members who have paid their 2010 dues.
