:: CLAY REMAINS ::

The 2006 Fall Gallery Show, Clay Remains, was held at Contemporary Design and Art Gallery October 6 to 31 2006. Pieces were jurried by Kent Rigby, Architect; Don McDonald, owner of Circle Pottery ; and Gallery Owner, Michael Melik. Opening night revealed a broad range of clay art. Michael Melik described his feelings in accepting the work. 'The first day every piece seemed very different, but I thought the second day would all be more of the same things. It was not. Every piece was so different.'

First place was awarded to Kevin Frazier, Second Place to Dawn Atkin, Third Place to Brian Jensen and Director's Choice to Renee Gilson.

Clay Arts, Utah thanks Contemporary Design and Art Gallery and Capitol Ceramics for all their support in making this wonderful show possible.
